Meet Our Team

Our team shares a commitment to excellence, professionalism and better health outcomes.

Together, we work to deliver the highest standard of care and service to our patients and communities.

Clinical Team

Clinical

Dr. Joko

Consultant Physician — Diabetes, Endocrinology & Hypertension

MD — Specialist qualifications in internal medicine and endocrinology

Two people can arrive with the same diagnosis for entirely different reasons. My work begins with listening carefully, understanding what is actually driving the problem in front of me, and only then deciding what testing and treatment are genuinely useful.

Clinical

Dr Yvonne Joko

Consultant Physician — Diabetes & Endocrinology

MD — Specialist training in internal medicine

Care works best when patients understand their own condition, so consultations are as much about explaining as they are about prescribing.

Leadership & Care Team

Leadership

Gladys Joko

Director, Zero Diabetes Project

Leads the clinic's prevention and screening initiative — community education, early detection and connecting people to proper clinical care.

Zero Diabetes Project

Laboratory

Carine

Laboratory Technician

Runs the diagnostic and monitoring tests behind every consultation — blood panels, glucose monitoring and the routine checks that let the consultants make decisions on real results, not guesswork.

Patient care

Nadege

Medical Assistant

First point of contact for appointments, referrals and follow-up, making sure each visit is prepared and nothing is lost between consultations.

Approach

How Our Team Works

01

Understanding before testing

The first consultation is a conversation. History, symptoms, previous treatment and daily life come first, because the cause behind diabetes, hormonal disease or high blood pressure differs from person to person.

02

Care across connected specialties

Diabetes, endocrine disease, hypertension and cardiovascular risk are treated together rather than as separate problems handled by separate clinics.

03

Long-term, not one-off

Treatment is reviewed over time — results, response to medication and changes in your circumstances all shape the plan rather than a single visit deciding it.
